His debut book is On These Courts: A Miracle Season That Changed a City, a Once-Future Star, and a Team Forever. It's the story of Memphian and NBA superstar Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway and how he helped his friend Desmond Merriweather coach the Lester Middle School basketball team to a championship and the impact it had on their Binghampton community.
